Fans of quirky urban fantasy will devour this one. Which to me means it is excellent storytelling. It could be read as almost anti-science or anti-science fiction even (anti- as in opposite, not against), reflecting past-times when horrors such as earthquakes and comets were explained by supernatural events \u2026\u00a0So, what is <em>Hang Wire<\/em>? A very good piece of storytelling. A damn fine read.\u201d<strong> \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/geeksyndicate.co.uk\/reviews\/book-review-hang-wire\/\"><strong>Geek Syndicate<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Hang Wire<\/em> tells a number of tales all at once. It\u2019s a detective story, a horror, a little bit of science fiction and a lot of urban fantasy. That\u2019s not saying the three that went before \u2013\u00a0<em>Empire State<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Seven Wonders<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Age Atomic<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 were not good, they were very good in fact, what I am saying is over the course of the previous books I have seen Adam\u2019s style and mastery of his craft grow and expand.
